illumiQ was created by digital collagist Kat Black, creator of the acclaimed Golden Tarot and Touchstone Tarot decks.

Kat has been creating digitally composited Illuminated Letters since 2000. Some early examples are available on her website retrokat medieval. Hopefully you agree that these are an improvement on those early versions, thanks to the thousands of hours she has since spent working with Medieval, Renaissance and Baroque images.
